She was born in India, West Bengal and brought up in Venezuela and Germany. Heike Seegebarth completed her studies in traditional western herbal medicine in Berlin from 1987 - 1992. 1994 she started to study in Padmasri Krishnakumars „International Institute of Ayurveda“ and stayed and learned later from Vaidyamadhom for 2 years.at present continuing to study from Dr GG Gangadharan, Dr Hari, Sanskrit Prof Ramadas PV.

1997 own Ayurvedic Clinic in South Germany, first 5 years together with Dr Jeevan BAMS. She is practicing traditional Ayurveda, including Panchakarma.

Over 20 years she was teaching basic Ayurveda to practitioners and laymen in various institutions. Import of Ayurvedic Medicine from 1997 – 2012, the last 6 years from AVP Various articles on Ayurveda have been published in medical journals.
