Dr. Leena P Nair, MD(Ayu), (PhD) pursued her BAMS and MD (Ayu) in Ayurveda Siddantha from Alvas Ayurveda Medical College, Moodbidri. She also holds additional qualification in Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy from CCRYN and Postgraduate certificate in Panchakarma from KMC Manipal. Currently She is pursuing PhD in Ayurveda Education from Amrita Viswavidhyapeedom.She has more than 11 years of teaching experience including postgraduate teaching. She has guided more than 25 PG scholars and published more than 50 scholarly articles and book chapters in various indexed journals .She has served as resource person & judging committe member in various international & national seminars, conferences & conclaves. She delivers awareness classes on Psychology, Philosophy and Public Health in various platforms and conducts medical camps in association with various NGO's and Local Governing Bodies. She has been appointed as the examiner in various universities and served as organizing secretary of various National and International Conferences. She holds various position in Ayurveda Medical Association of India, Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, Association of Samhita Siddhanta Teacher's in India & All Kerala Samhita Siddhanta Teacher's Association.She has been awarded Research Ratna in Ayurveda dietetics and dignified as Successful Women by Indian Bank.Currently she is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Basic Principles, Amrita School of Ayurveda,Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham,India
