Dr Mukesh Edavalath is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Roganidana at Vaidyaratnam P S Varier Ayurveda College, Kottakkal. He completed BAMS from SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi and M D from Govt Ayurveda College, Kannur , Kerala. He served as Medical officer, in the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine, Government of Kerala for 5 years, before taking up his current tenure as an educator. An active clinician and clinical educator, Dr Mukesh has to his credit, several published papers in national and international journals. Also he had delivered talks in various seminars in India and abroad. In the year 2013, he had visited southern states of USA as a part of Group Study exchange program and delivered orientation talks on Ayurveda at different conferences. He is a regular faculty in Ayurvedic Training programs, research workshops and also an editorial member in leading scientific journals. He is also the Director of Kottakkal Ayurveda School of Excellence (KASE), which offers certificate programs aimed at providing continued, innovative and functional learning for Ayurvedic practitioners.
